How much does a residential holiday lighting installation cost?
Pricing depends on the size of your home, the complexity of the design, and which features you’d like included — roofline lighting, tree wrapping, wreaths, and so on. How much does a commercial installation cost?
Commercial pricing varies more than residential, since properties range from a single storefront to a full plaza. Rather than a flat price range, every commercial project gets a custom quote based on your specific property — learn more on our Commercial page.
Is the design consultation really free?
Yes — every residential and commercial project starts with a free, no-obligation design consultation. We’ll walk your property with you, talk through your vision, and provide a clear quote before any work begins.
Do you require a deposit?
Deposit and payment details are confirmed during your quote. Reach out to request a free quote and we’ll walk you through exactly how it works.
The Installation Process
Do I need to be home during installation?
No — as long as our team can safely access your property, installation can be completed without you needing to be present. We’re always happy to walk through the plan together during your design consultation beforehand.
Will installation damage my roof, eavestroughs, or siding?
No. We use secure, non-penetrating mounting clips made specifically for holiday lighting — no drilling, no nails, and no risk to your roofline, eavestroughs, or siding.
Do I need an electrician for my display?
In most cases, no. Our team handles the electrical setup for standard residential and commercial displays as part of the installation.
Can you work around our business hours?
Yes — for commercial properties, we schedule installation around your operating hours so the process stays as unobtrusive as possible. See our Commercial page for more on how this works.
Do you handle larger commercial properties like plazas?
Yes — we’ve designed and installed displays ranging from a single storefront to full commercial plazas. Scale is part of what we plan for during your consultation.
Tree Lighting, Wreaths & Design
Do you decorate properties that don't have trees?
Yes — if your property doesn’t have trees, we can bring in a pre-lit or pre-decorated outdoor tree for the season as part of your display. It’s a great option for newer homes or properties where the landscaping hasn’t fully matured yet. Everything is included in your installation — we bring it, set it up, maintain it throughout the season, and take it with us when we’re done.
What's the difference between a canopy wrap and a trunk wrap?
A canopy wrap weaves light through the branches and foliage for a full, glowing effect, typically used on evergreens. A trunk wrap spirals light up the trunk and main branches for a cleaner look, often used on deciduous trees in winter. We’ll recommend the best style for your trees during your design consultation.
Can you match a specific colour scheme or style?

Maintenance & Takedown
What happens if a bulb or strand stops working mid-season?
Just reach out. In-season maintenance is included with every installation, so if anything needs attention while your display is up, we’ll come take care of it.
Do you handle takedown too?
Yes — full takedown is included with every project, on a schedule that works for you once the season wraps up. You never need to climb a ladder at any point in the process.
Do I need to store my own lights and decorations?
No — we supply, maintain, and replace the lighting and decorations we use, so there’s nothing for you to store or worry about season to season.
Scheduling
When should I book my installation?
As early as possible — our installation calendar fills quickly, often by mid-November. Booking early gives you the most flexibility on dates and design, for both residential and commercial projects.
How far in advance should commercial properties book?
Larger commercial projects in particular benefit from early planning, since scale and scheduling take more coordination. We recommend reaching out as early in the fall as possible.

Yes — every installer is trained and fully insured, experienced working safely at heights in all kinds of winter weather.
Do you use LED lighting?
Yes, exclusively. Our LED lighting uses approximately 90% less energy than traditional incandescent bulbs, so your display looks just as bright while costing less to run.
